We hope to serve over 1 million homeless people as we encourage and inspire them regarding what life has in store.

Africa is a beautiful and amazing content, but unfortunately, home to many homeless families. In Kenya, there are approximately 2 million homeless Kenyans. Half of them are children living in abject poverty, spending time in the streets in the snares of violence, drugs and substance abuse, hunger, and health hazards.

At Geo Africa Foundation, we understand the hopelessness of being homeless. We believe in access to nutritious food, water, and other necessities. Hence, we create connections and offer a listening ear to the families and children as we interact with them and distribute the basic items.

We hope to serve over 1 million homeless people as we encourage and inspire them regarding what life has in store.

Mission

Our mission is to create a sustainable program that aims to restore the dignity of the homeless by providing nutritious and quality food, water, and other basic needs hence alleviating the critical insecurities of the vulnerable in the society leading to improved wellbeing.

Vision

We envision a community that moves beyond survival, where no one goes hungry, has access to basic needs, and is equipped to live a better life, therefore creating a strong, healthier continent.

Core Values

Collaboration

We partner with the community, including volunteers and local government, to provide the highest level of service possible to the homeless. We believe it takes a village, so we don’t work in isolation.

Compassion and mutual respect

We create an open environment where all experience acceptance and dignity. We ensure there is a supportive and nurturing environment for the people we serve, and, in doing so, we impact people physically, mentally, or emotionally.

Transformative

Our work is never a quick fix; change and transformation take time. We work toward creating a thriving community that can envision its future and the steps needed towards the transformation. We want the homeless to know they can be seen, heard, and loved, giving them hope for a better future.

Connections

We honor the human connections between people and do not discriminate. We believe the connections allow us to thrive; therefore, we serve as means of change for the greater community by acting in a humanitarian way. We believe each person has a purpose, and hence we work towards building resilience, change, and growth.
