ABout Us

"Geo Africa Foundation was established in 2021 to combat famine and drought in Africa."

Our mission is to restore the dignity of those in need by providing food, water, and other resources to alleviate the insecurity of the most vulnerable in Africa.

Our vision is of a stronger, healthier African continent where no one goes hungry, and everyone has access to basic needs and is equipped to live a rich and fulfilling life.

On a 2020 trip to Kenya, our founder, Dawoud Adeyola, was struck by the poverty and desperation he witnessed.

Kenya is a beautiful country, but it struggles with some of the highest levels of hunger and food insecurity in the world. These issues have been exacerbated by Kenya’s geographical susceptibility to the perils of climate change, as well as the ravages brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.

When they returned to the United States that year with a clear mission and the determination to make a difference. He soon founded Geo Africa with the goal of helping the people who needed it most.

Stewardship

Our mission is well accomplished through the generosity of members of the community. We respect donors’ intentions regarding the gifts we receive from them. We, therefore, promote responsible stewardship of the resources entrusted to us by accomplishing the objectives set.

Meet the Board
